E Ink has been in the news about a million times since I
joined in 1998. It is fun to see the things you are working on
in the press constantly. The most gratifying is to open
up a magazines or newspaper you normally read and to just
happen on an article about something you worked on...

Pretty much any mention of the word "railgun" is likely
to make a nerd's ears perk up. The railgun project Mouser and
I started was lucky enough to get some play on
slashdot. This brought in a wave of new people on the mailing
list and made for some good times.

Even from the very first year, the ORCA submarine ran
linux. Who ever thought a piece of sewer pipe from the old
atlantic paper box company renovation site could become so
famous?
